Aurametrix is committed to protecting your privacy and confidentiality. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how it is used and how we protect it.

Information We Collect and How it is Used

We collect information you submit to Aurametrix such as gender, age, location, conditions, diseases, symptoms, foods, drugs, supplements, activities, emotions, personal care and household products you may be exposed to. We use this information to help you determine what factors may be influencing your health outcomes. Your individual data, including comments you make in your individual journal entries, are not shared. Some information you provide may be used in calculations of aggregate statistics that are shared with the user community.

The only cookie Aurametrix uses is a temporary session cookie that enables communication between the server and your browser. All other cookies are by our service providers: Olark, Google Analytics, Youtube and Getsponge. We do not have access or control over these cookies.

We do not ask for any personally-identifiable information and encourage you to use an anonymous e-mail address for registration. This address will be used only for setting your password (or resetting it in case you forget it). You can change your e-mail or password at any time.

You can change the information you submit at any time or delete all of it by deleting your account. Deleting your account will remove all your data.
Removed content still may be available in backup copies for a short period of time, but it will not be included in aggregate statistics calculations.

PayPal may collect your private information for financial transactions, but the company does not share it with us and we do not store your private information on our servers.

We may collect IP addresses for safety and security purposes.

Security of Your Personal Information

Aurametrix has implemented technology and security policies, rules and other measures to protect the personal data that we may have under our control from unauthorized access, improper use, alteration, unlawful or accidental destruction and accidental loss. We protect your information by requiring that all our employees and others who have access to or are associated with the processing of your data respect your confidentiality. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of member information at any time.
