Hopeful signs continue as the rate of daily Covid infections is declining, although the rate of vaccinations is slowing too, and hospitals are seeing more younger adults admitted: see latest COVIDnet data.
It has been over 3 months since our furst participants got both shots and we have not seen any long-lasting health problems yet.
As there will be more large scale unmasked interactions, we'll continue to monitor potential virus spread or possible negative health effects. You can tell us about it anonymously. You can also share your vaccination and COVID-19 experiences with our volunteers who will keep your names confidential even from other members of the team.

April 18 2021: First breakthrough case reported in Kahite.

March 7 2021: Starting tomorrow, every adult at increased risk of severe COVID-19 will be eligible to book a vaccination appointment.


February 28 2021: Newly approved 1-dose J&J vaccine begins shipping tonight


Februry 14 2021: More than a quarter of Kahitians have received at least one dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine


February 21, 2021: No new Covid-19 cases in Kahite.


February 11 2021: Walmart, Kroger, SAM's club, CVS Health starting to administer vaccines


February 7 2021: 6% is fully vaccinated


January 31 2021: 10% have received at least one dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine


January 17 2021: waiting list has about 1100 in Monroe and about 4200 people in Loudon county.


January 10 2021: 5% received their first doze of Moderna vaccine


January 6 2021: Back-to-Normal study begins
